The POLLEN18 organizing committee is pleased to invite all conference participants to a welcoming ceremony and drinks reception at the Oslo City Hall on the evening of 19 June 2018.

Where: Oslo City Hall, Rådhusplassen 1, 0037 Oslo
When: 19 June 2018, at 19.00 (sharp — late entry not possible!) until 20.30.
Programme: Representatives from the City Hall will give a welcome speech before light fingerfood and drinks are served. This will be followed by an opportunity for a guided tour (in English) at the end of the visit.

For those of you visiting Oslo or Norway for the first time, the City Hall may be of interest as it is the venue where the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded each year.

The Oslo City Government is also actively engaged in planning for urban sustainability through its Green Oslo initiatives. Following this, the European Commission has named Oslo the European Green Capital for 2019.

The reception is free of charge for POLLEN18 conference participants. If you are interested in attending, however, you must register your details at the following link: https://nettskjema.uio.no/answer/95877.html
